DBE DSD Joint Statement on ECD
ECD centres that were entitled to subsidies, but the government decided not to pay the subsidies in lockdown, will now be paid. Children that were eating crickets and grass will now be able to get a plate of food again at their nursery school. The judge granted us the right to appear before her again on the same papers to enforce the order, which means that if it doesn’t happen we can quickly do something about it.
