Developing and managing a safe school:

This course should be attended by ALL staff. We often hear of or experience children that are injured at Nursery Schools. There are even some children who die (very few) because of injury, choking or some circumstance at Nursery Schools. We must be aware and constantly apply our minds as to the safety of our classroom, our children and the school. If something happens we must feel that it was truly an accident and not that someone was negligent.

Basic First aid course available for online study at your own

This Basic First Aid course is a short course aimed at ECD Centre staff to equip them with knowledge and skills to handle an emergency at school.

 

There are 7 Modules in this course:

  1. Basic Anatomy and Physiology
  2. Principles of First Aid and Safety
  3. Dealing with Choking Emergencies
  4. CPR Techniques
  5. Shock, the different types, and general treatment
  6. Wounds and Bleeding
  7. Dressings, bandages, and splints

 

At the end, you will receive a Certificate
